In the heart of the Roman countryside, on Braccianense, stretches Casali Santa Brigida, an estate of 60 hectares built between ancient houses.

The structure dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century and draws its name from the ancient legend, which states that a church dedicated to Santa Brigida stood in this very place.

Today the farmhouse, completely restored, retains the look and feeling of the Roman countryside and yet it presents itself as a modern resort. Nestled in a park of centuries-old pines, inebriated by the scent of countless colorful flowers decorated with the fruits and plants that welcome it, Casali Santa Brigida is an ideal location for a country or boho chic wedding, for a romantic wedding ceremony against the backdrop of nature.

On the other hand, there are several churches to celebrate religious rites. Santa Maria in Celsano, in the square in the village of Santa Maria di Galeria, is a quaint little medieval church. San Pancrazio at Isola Farnese, a delightful little church of ancient origins (IV century AD). San Nicola and San Giovanni in Cesano, a small medieval village.The estate of Santa Brigida has large spaces, both indoors and outdoors, therefore it is suitable for a ceremony in any season.For those who want a more informal, yet refined, chic and original ceremony in the background of nature and countryside, the wide green spaces surrounding the farmhouses can be set up to accommodate up to 300 people.The Santa Brigida farmhouses are the perfect place for a boho chic wedding: secular oaks, eucalyptus trees, pines, the sunflowers’ colours, ferns and downy oaks are the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and romantic banquet or buffet in the countryside that focuses on essence and singularity. Guests can sit and sip drinks and appetizers in the cozy lounge area set up at strategic points of the garden.

In short: an original ceremony, with a retro feel which does not surrender the comforts of the modern world.At the center of the park is La Robinia, a space covered by a wooden roof, surrounded by red and vigorous Photynia hedges. The red of the plants harmonizes with the earth’s colours and the locally sourced products served in this 90 square meter area, perfect for a more intimate ceremony of up to 45 seats.The century-old pines park, adorned by the fountain in the garden, is the ideal location for a “symbolic” civil ceremony in a typical American style: gazebo and chairs surrounded by flowers and minimal decorations to remain in perfect harmony with nature.The central part of the structure is occupied by the wedding area: two connecting halls which can accommodate up to 250 people.

In volcanic stone the “Sala Il Camino”, named after the imposing fireplace that receives guests in the foyer of the entrance and warms up the environment during the winter. An area of ​​over 150 meters squared, made unique by the walls and lava stone vaults.From the “Sala Il Camino” one has access to the Hall of the Eucalypts, the flagship of the estate. A covered garden, furnished with natural elements: climbing ivy and two imposing eucalyptus emerging from the roof. It is also known as the Glass Room due to the presence of sliding glass doors that, in warm weather, allow the smells of the park to drift in, transforming the room into a real open courtyard.

The building offers the guests a place to stay, equipped with 23 rooms, 2 suites and 2 apartments, all made from ancient restored farmhouses. The bright rooms, in a rustic yet modern style are equipped with flat screen TV, free WiFi, and in certain cases, a patio. It is possible to choose between Executive and Cottage style rooms. For a romantic stay the suites are ideal: fireplace, Jacuzzi, chromotherapy and a view of the park. The apartments, completely independent of each other, are made up of a large living room, a bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom.
